MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - President Obama’s top man on education will speak at 1 of 5 spring commencement ceremonies at UW-Madison. Education Secretary Arne Duncan is scheduled to address graduates from the colleges of agriculture, environmental studies, education, human ecology, medicine, nursing, and pharmacy. That ceremony will be held the morning of May 15th at the Kohl Center.
Also, the founder of a creative writing and speaking program for young people will deliver addresses at 2 of Madison’s commencements May 15th and 16th. James Kass, the founder of Youth Speaks, will appear at ceremonies for professional, graduate, various undergrad degrees.
